Summary
Travel over harbour bridge and through downtown Tauranga. Drive through Te Puke town (Kiwifruit Capital of the World). Pause at Māori marae and Māori school, past the tiny historic Māori church and then up and back beautiful Gridley Rd, flanked either side with green and gold kiwi vines and avocado trees.
Visit Community Hall for kiwi talk and a Local Māori family cultural performance. Enjoy morning tea and tastings at Paengaroa Hall, with a little time for some memento shopping.
Travel back to port via Marine Parade and Pilot Bay.
